RITA SAPIRA SAIN was born in Romania and emigrated in Israel in 1972. She attendded the School of Arts of Bucharest where she studied sculpture with Medrea. She participated in annual decorative and in annual sculpture exhibitions of Romania.

In 1958 she awarded the second prize for sculpture for her work "Maternity". In 1965-1966 she achieves a 13.5 sqm mosaic and the decoration for the sections of the Clinical Hospital "Dr. George Marinescu" in Bucharest.
