Permanent Exhibition of the Museum of History in Roman

The basic exhibition of the museum, organised in 15 halls, in a 700 sq.m. space, as mentioned before, includes 5,000 items (of the 170,000 museum items), beginning with the Stone Age and until World War I. The exhibition illustrates a part of the middle course of Siret river area, corresponding to the former county of Roman. Our museum offers today to the public a basic exhibition renewed from the point of view of the content and presentation, where the modest accessories are meant to present site circumstances which makes it easier to perceive the significance of certain items and even of certain phenomena that have to be reconstituted on the basis of these exhibits.
