Technical description

Were dug ten sections on the left bank of the Crasna river.

Results

Were found 5 dwellings, 2 ovens in the open air and 7 pits. The archaeological material was rich and diverse: ceramics (pots, griddles, trays), metal items (iron knives, nails, piercing, one bronze ring), tools of stone, clay or bone (piercing, weights for the loom, stones for sharpening, different tools).

By the materials found the settlement can be dated in the IX-X th century. All the materials were deposited in the warehouses of the MJIA Zalău (up)

Technical description

Were dug two sections on the long side and on the short side of the area to built (77 square meters).

Results

Although the area researched was dug to the depth of 1,30 m there were no archaeological materials been found. The area to built was placed in the flooded area of the Panic river, which was not inhabited in prehistory nor in the antiquity. The land for which was asked the archaeological free of charge had no archaeological items. (up)

Technical description

Were dug 2 squares in the area to be build. The 2 squares had in between a control of 0,5 m on the North-South axis. Was made a system of squares of 1 meter square, on which were gathered all the archaeological items.

Results

Were found three inhabited levels . The oldest belonged to the late eneolithic period (Tiszapolgar culture), overlapped by a Wietenberg III level, which was at his turn overlapped by a level belonging to the late bronze age ( Cehăluţ group). From the eneolithic period dated a hoveland three pits, one from a pillar. In the Wietenberg level appeared an oven and the corner of a dwelling, and in the Cehăluţ level appeared five pits, one of them belonging to a pillar. With the exception of the Wietenberg dwelling all the others complexes had poor inventory. In this dwelling along the Wieteneberg materials had appeared also some Otomani pots. (up)
